Learning on the Job

A few days ago I was telling my co-workers never to depend on me alone but rather depend on themselves and their intuition. When we make mistakes, we often feel discouraged to continue carrying out the tasks given to us. I thus encouraged them to continue taking tasks with pleasure, even when they make mistakes so that they learn from their own mistakes.

Then I gave them the following quotations on mistakes as an encouragement to achieve better results at work and on the social plane.
“If you don’t make mistakes, you’re not working on hard enough problems. And that’s a big mistake”. ~F. Wikzek
“While one person hesitates because he feels inferior, the other is busy making mistakes and becoming superior”. ~Henry C. Link
“An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made in a very narrow field”. ~Niels Bohr

When employees are at work, they must learn much from their colleagues. They must adopt the resilience of their co-workers and learn faster.
